Introduction A space to remember, to grieve, and to celebrate the unique life that was lived.
Saying goodbye to someone we love is never easy, but a funeral or celebration of life ceremony that truly reflects their character, passions, and spirit, can bring profound comfort and meaning during a difficult time.
Drawing on my personal experience of loss and my professional training, I create ceremonies that honor your loved one authentically – whether that's a traditional funeral service, a vibrant celebration of life, a quiet memorial, or an intimate ashes interment ceremony.
With sensitivity, compassion, and attention to detail, I'll help you create a ceremony that gives everyone present the space to remember, to grieve, and to celebrate the unique life that was lived.
A Ceremony As Unique As Their Life
Every person's life is unique, and their farewell ceremony should be too. I don't believe in one-size-fits-all funeral services – instead, I take time to learn about your loved one through conversations with family and friends, helping me create a ceremony that authentically celebrates who they were.
Whether you're looking for a ceremony that is:
-
Traditional and dignified
-
Bright and celebratory
-
Intimate and reflective
-
Nature-focused and outdoor
-
Faith-inclusive or entirely secular
-
Filled with music and memories
-
Quiet and contemplative
I'll work closely with you to create a ceremony that feels right for your loved one and provides the meaningful farewell they deserve.
Types of Ceremonies I Offer
Funeral Ceremonies
A complete ceremony usually held at a crematorium or cemetery, incorporating music, readings, tributes, and reflections on your loved one's life.
Memorial Services
Ceremonies that are held some time after the death, allowing more time for planning and giving people the opportunity to travel from further away.
Ashes Interment or Scattering
Intimate ceremonies to mark the final resting place of your loved one's ashes, whether that's in a garden of remembrance, a woodland burial ground, or a special location.

The Ceremony Creation Process
-
Initial Consultation
Usually made through the funeral director, though you're welcome to contact me directly. We'll have a brief conversation about your initial needs and arrange a meeting.
-
Family Meeting
I'll meet with you and other close family members, either at your home or another comfortable location, to learn about your loved one and discuss ceremony options.
-
Information Gathering
I'll listen to your stories and memories, and may also speak with other friends or family members if appropriate (with your permission).
-
Ceremony Creation
Based on our conversations, I'll create a draft ceremony script that authentically reflects your loved one.
-
Review & Refinement
You'll have the opportunity to review the script and suggest any changes or additions.
-
The Ceremony Day
I'll arrive early to coordinate with the funeral director and venue staff, ensure everything is ready, and deliver the ceremony with warmth and dignity.
