Welcome to the Pitch Perfect Ceremonies Autumn Newsletter 2025!

I’m Helen, a dual-qualified Celebrant (and hopeless romantic) based in Oxfordshire. I love my job, so much in fact, that I don’t think I can really call it work. I get to go to the most beautiful venues across Oxfordshire, Berkshire, Buckinghamshire, Wiltshire and Gloucestershire and marry the best couples. To me, my role centres on prioritising my couples and prioritising their wedding ceremony. I believe the wedding ceremony itself should be the core of the fab celebrations and having a celebrant lead the ceremony ensures the freedom to make this a reality.

Why Celebrants are Great for Wedding Venues

As a Celebrant who has worked across many venues, I can honestly say, venues love us! And here’s why:

1. We are an extension of your team, so you know who we are. We are as invested in our couple having an amazing day as you are. We will also make time to network with your other suppliers and do all we can to help make everything run perfectly to plan. Less stress and a gold standard experience.
2. More flexibility and freedom – we have total freedom with days, times, locations and ceremony content. No restrictions which means we are very adaptable to work with what you and our couple need.
3. No time pressures and constraints. Unlike registrars who likely have weddings back-to-back all day and will be clock watching, I only have one wedding ceremony a day. This means I will always arrive early and keep things calm and running to plan with breathing room if timings slip a little.
4. We are an asset and a selling point for your venue. More and more couples want something different to the same old ceremony used by registrars. They want their ceremony to be unique and personal with creativity. Being able to offer ceremony options is good for business.

Summer Season Round up!

I have had a fab summer season with lots of beautiful ceremonies, some unforgettable styled shoots and catching up with wonderful suppliers and friends. I also managed to grab a week with my family in Portugal, eating, drinking and relaxing.
